Don't Just Take Our Word For It

Here is What Others Are Saying
About Our Workshops and Photo Tours.

Thanks Byron for a great workshop in the Everglades.  Not only did you provide endless photo opportunities and instruction while we were out shooting but also the invaluable information and help with the digital workflow and processing after the sun went down.  This is a photo I took during the workshop.  It won first place at the Williamson County Fair this year.

Thanks for all your help.

"Byron's workshops are amazing. He is always well prepared and will provide you with many photo opportunities.  He shares his technical skills in a way that many professional photographers won't and his anecdotes are never ending and entertaining.  I have attended several of Byron's workshops and have never been disappointed."

What an incredible experience for me ! ! !

I so appreciate your knowledge and experience and your willingness and ability to share it with us. You were able to work with shooters of every level with ease. Your planning and execution of this workshop was first rate.

I feel my personal photography level will increase by a huge leap, not just a small incremental change. I feel like your workshop helped me to see a bigger picture for my personal photographic efforts in the coming months.

I hope to be able to sign up for either the Big South Fork National Recreation Area in Fall or Wildlife Workshop in the Smokies. Please reserve a spot for me for this fall's Webs, Flowers and Butterflies....A Macro Workshop in Fall. This one is a super time/cost effective workshop for me at my current skill and interest level.....

In closing, thanks again for the great workshop experience. I could not have asked for more.

"...I may finally try to do something serious with what has up until now been only a hobby. Since I've got a few months to try it out (hopefully), I may just see what I can accomplish. If I hadn't been to the seminar in January, I wouldn't even consider trying this. But I gained so much information from that, at least I have an idea where to start. I truly appreciate your and Byron's willingness to share this information with others."

Hello Byron and Susan-
My husband and I have participated in several of your workshops over the past few years. This past weekend we took another photographer's workshop and were so disappointed. Rather than explainingtechniques and encouraging participants (like you do) we came away feeling that he intentionally made things more difficult to discourage people from becoming photographers and trying to market their images.
We talked on the way home that he had been very much unlike Byron, and we certainly know where we will be spending our time and money on seminars in the future. Thought you might like a pat on theback. Hoping to see you at a seminar in the future!

"My first Workshop with Byron was Macro Photography. Since then I have taken Running a Photography Business, Wolves in Minnesota, Okeefeenokee Swamp, Ding Darling NWR, Reelfoot Lake, and Yellowstone/Grand Tetons National Parks. I chose to join Byron on his Workshops because the vast photographic knowledge he shares in abundance, I always felt like I learned things of value. Moreover, whether it was a 3 hour Macro class or 8 days and 1500 miles through a National Park, Byron was always entertaining, interesting and fun! He truly can enhance the adventure of exploring the World!"

If you ever have a workshop on setting up a Photo Website, let me know!

Happy travels and carry an extra roll of film!

yours truly,
Fred Pierson

"I have been on three photography workshops with Byron. I plan to go on many more. Each time the experience has been wonderful, and I've come away with great images. Byron is always willing to openly share his knowledge and expertise in a way that appeals to beginners and advanced photographers alike. His skill and easygoing nature make the workshops not only productive but a lot of fun too. If you've thought about a photography workshop, I encourage you to go with Byron. You won't be disappointed.

Anyone interested in starting their own stock photography business should take the marketing workshop. Everything is covered in this intense workshop, and I mean everything from what sells to mistakes to avoid. No question goes unanswered. Topics covered include storage, finding a market for your images, how to maintain an office, and so much more. A must for someone who has thought about their own stock photography business. "

Thanks for a superb trip. The long hours paid off with many, many publishable slides. We really appreciate all your efforts, expertise, and hospitality and will look forward to seeing you on future workshops.

Dear Byron,

I am sitting in my office with the fog around me wondering if I should just get that camera out again and wait for "the moment."

Thank you for an incredible weekend in the Big South Fork! Setting up that perfect sunrise was really a miracle. Truly, I learned a lot and not only about equipment and composing , but the raw beauty of north eastern Tennessee.........

You are an exceptional instructor and the love of your field is so revealing and catching.

.....Happy shooting and I may throw you some questions as I purchase equipment.
Thanks again,

Beth Sulkowski
